The Affordable Art Fair NYC returns to the hustling and bustling art capital of the world to showcase new and emerging artists, galleries, programming and must-see installations. Since its debut, the Fair has become a true international phenomenon, launching in eleven cities, garnering attendance of over 1 million visitors and selling over $300 million of contemporary art. Continuing to reach new heights, the Affordable Art Fair NYC Spring edition, taking place April 18 – 22 2012 at 7W New York (7 West 34th Street), is sure to be another must-attend event.
This spring we are delighted to welcome over 75 galleries from across the globe, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Singapore, and Vietnam. We have a strong line up of programming panel discussions with major art world figures from Art.sy, Artnet, Paddle 8 and SVA speaking about the current art market and incorporating art into your home taking place in the Programming Lounge sponsored by The Conran Shop. One of the partners for this edition is HGTV, and they will be hosting a special installation “HGTV’s The White Room Challenge Showcase” in which their season 4 Design Star winner will be create a site specific designed booth at the Fair. HGTV who will recreate their White Room Challenge Showcase in a booth at the Fair and on Thursday from 5pm-9pm the designer will be onsite to discuss his design.
